ABOUT PERMISSION DATA Permission Data was formed in 2001. Three veteran advertising and technology professionals recognized the opportunity to provide companies with high quality business leads generated through the respect for consumers. The envisioned gold standard was a clean break in a field sorely lacking in effective and ethical solutions. Permission Data wishes to continue to be the choice that Fortune 500 companies turn to when building data bases for co-registration. EXECUTIVE TEAM ERIC O’NEILL, President and Co-Founder A cofounder of Permission Data; Eric oversees all Advertising Sales. With over 9 years of online sales experience, Eric has held senior advertising sales positions at both startup and established companies in the online industry. Prior to starting Permission Data, Eric was the East Coast Sales Director at Net2Phone, Inc, a publicly traded company (NASD: NTOP). He oversaw the East Coast Sales Team, which covered the entire Eastern US territory and was responsible for over $10 million in yearly revenue. LOU PINE, CMO and Co-Founder Lou is a well-known figure in the interactive industry and has consulted for leading marketers worldwide. With extensive experience in online marketing and business development, Lou Pine serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development. He is in charge of overseeing Permission Data’s marketing strategies, as well as business development. As a founder, Lou is an integral part of Permission Data’s success and growth. Lou possesses more than 7 years experience in online advertising, specifically in sales and marketing and partner relations. He began his interactive advertising career in 1996 at Music Blvd, an early online music store. Since then has held executive sales positions at Mail.com and Phase2Media. DOUG O’NEILL, CTO and Co-Founder Doug designs and manages all of Permission Data’s proprietary information technology, integration with partners and customers, and day-to-day operations of the company. Doug brings to the table over 12 years of software development, product management, and business development experience, primarily with startup companies in emerging markets. Prior to Permission Data, Doug was the Vice President of Product Management and Sales at Gemini Voice Solutions, Inc. / PhoneFree.com, a Voice-over-IP application solutions provider. Prior to Gemini Voice, Doug started as a programmer at SkyConnect, a digital video streaming and management startup, and moved his way up through Sales and Business Development roles until the company was purchased by nCUBE, Inc., a private venture headed by Larry Ellison of Oracle, Inc. After the purchase, Doug was promoted to Director of Product Management for nCUBE’s flagship Video-on-Demand product, currently deployed worldwide and delivering hundreds of thousands of video streams for most of the world’s top cable providers. Doug is a co-founder of Permission Data. MANAGEMENT TEAM JOSH ROMANO, West Coast Director of Sales As one of the first employees to join Permission Data, Josh brings his respected sales, marketing and strategic business development skills to the company. These skills led him to have the highest customer retention rate of anyone on the sales team. A graduate from the University of Colorado – Boulder, he lived and worked in Colorado and San Francisco before moving to NYC in 2002. Josh has been managing implementation and operational effectiveness for sales projects for the past eight years. While living in San Francisco Josh launched his career in Online Advertising by working for MyPoints and Excite. Josh’s dedication and hard work keep Permission Data’s clients happy and sales team motivated. SABIHA AZAM, Director of Partner Relations Sabiha joined the Permission Data team in August 2005 with over 3 years of online advertising experience. Her primary responsibilities are media buying and planning, where she works with over a hundred publishers to ensure each client’s goals are being met. Sabiha's skills in media buying, list management, and online sales give her a broad range of knowledge within the online marketing industry. She works diligently to make her publishers and clients happy in order to sustain long-term relationships. She is a graduate of Montclair State University, where she studied Fashion Design and Merchandising. STEPHANIE WYAND, Director of Marketing Stephanie started working for Permission Data, LLC. in October of 2005. She has experience with media buying in email marketing and co-registration. She spearheads all online media planning for Permission Data’s internal sites and new site development. She also launched and manages Permission Data’s Ignite Network. Her drive, assertiveness and willing to take on new projects is a major asset to the Permission Data team. Stephanie graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in Marketing in May of 2004. MICHAEL RAIS, Director of Software Development Michael joined Permission Data in 2004 with 8 years of experience in the computing industry. He is an expert at developing and optimizing database-driven online systems. Michael is responsible for researching technology, managing developers, implementing software projects, and advising on the design and architecture of various solutions. So far, Michael’s hard work has led to major technological enhancements for Permission Data's websites, which have grown past one million transactions per month. He is a graduate of S.U.N.Y. Albany, and was the Director of Online Technology at Simon & Schuster, Viacom prior to joining the Permission Data team. TANYA COUTURE, Ad Operations Manager Tanya came to Permission data in May of 2003 with technical support and marketing experience within the Telecommunications and IT industries. In her current position she is responsible for creating the advertisements that get published and managing data flow. She works with Publishers to help setup offers and troubleshoot any data transfer issues and with clients to ensure overall satisfaction. Tanya Graduated from S.U.N.Y Fredonia in 2000, and immediately moved to New York City to pursue her career. |
